Preorder Questions...
Okay I just have a few questions. Yesterday I went to Best Buy and Pre-ordered the game and I was wondering when you go there to get your copy of the full game what do you show them to get it? Is it the receipt or something in the box? Also do you have to download maps or areas or anything before the beta events?
Thanks, -frodre |

at best buy, you need to bring the receipt with you on release day and bring the retail box to the customer service counter and they will discount the purchase price.
from my experience, there will always be a big download when you first log into a beta event. most things are only downloaded when needed, like maps and textures and stuff..

Actually, I believe that most of the files you need will be on the cd. The reason that we have rather big patches every BWE is that we -don't- have that final cd, and so we have to download the content.
It should pretty much be updates/sudden bug fixes after release.. |

Yes, the game is made for as many people as possible. They wanted a very large audiance allowing almost everyone to play if they chose. They made it 56 k modem friendly.
